Self-employed engineer and researcher
Doering Thinking Machines
A self-directed research and engineering program exploring general artificial systems that coordinate diverse language-model ensembles with symbolic techniques.
- Completed an extensive cognitive-science literature review spanning Kant, Hegel, Schopenhauer, Minsky, and related traditions, then synthesized it into an architectonic system blueprint.
- Built a long-running full-stack artificial system in Python and TypeScript around structured agent workflows, persistent knowledge, and human verification gates.
- Built a retrieval framework with Gemma embeddings and PostgreSQL/pgvector over parsed Wikitext, technical documents, academic papers, and system artifacts.
- Normalized a large personal software fleet around common repository templates, task records, tests, documentation, CI, release stages, and adversarial review.
