Twenty-two lines of a kitty.conf as plain text: two #: headings, key bindings that split windows and panes with launch --location, and bindings that jump between saved sessions, all one color.

The same lines with the Kitty syntax: map and each key chord in bold italics, actions such as launch and goto_session in teal, --flags like --location and --copy-colors in orange, and the comments dimmed.

Highlighting for the kitty terminal's config file: colors, paths, key combinations, and comments each get their own scope, with dedicated rules for keybindings and layouts.

Commands inside key mappings are handed off to shell highlighting, and malformed keys are flagged.
