Undertone
Browser text tinting backed by Git provenance, with a local Python indexer.
I built Undertone to show a passage's recorded provenance in the browser. A local Python indexer reads Git history, and a Firefox or Chrome extension tints matching prose and explains its label on hover.
The labels follow the available evidence rather than guessing from the writing style. Unmatched text stays unknown. The extension also includes a guided tour of the collaboration types represented in an index.
