Purpose and record.
An evidence-only provenance tinter for published text.
Mechanism
A local git indexer records which commit stands behind each paragraph, and a browser extension tints the rendered text from that record without altering the underlying page.
Context
It lets a reader see at a glance which passages carry a commit record and which do not, without trusting a badge or a claim.
